Description
Dalcross Castle is a classic Scottish tower house complete with a beamed Great Hall and large fireplace, a stone spiral main staircase, a secret staircase, turret rooms, shot holes and arrow slits.Built by Simon, Lord Lovat, in 1620, and held by the Lovat Frasers until 1703, Dalcross Castle then became the home of the Mackintosh Clan. In 1746 Dalcross was the rallying point for Cumberland

A wonderful view of another Castle and would make an ideal retreat for us Rendo Brits and maybe go up with you on one of these aircraft outings.. I did have a chance one time while I was in the Air force in Oman in the back seat of a Hunter!! I was to my shame sick!! Just going too fast!
