The Queen demands your presence....We aint got no presents the stores were all closed....!
I was directed to the copyright forum..looks like there may be some copyright laws being changed that will effect how our art is protected,and how we can defend ourselves if we have our art stolen...It is another law being created by our dishonest government...and puts the burden of proof on the artist not the thief..read the thread and write your congressman and demand this injustice be stopped before we are all screwed..If this thing passes i will have to empty my gallery or modify all 1300 images to be heavily watermarked and labeled with my proof of ownership..as this new law invites stealing.(and this isnt the only gallery we post in).and sorry if this seams like ranting and raving to some..but we have spent years filling our galleries and being told our art was copywritten just by being posted here...This may change and not by the powers of renderosity but by the government themselves.

Like khedron and Surama I'm lacking words when I look at this work of art! WOOOOOOOW!!!!! FAV!!!! nd I'm lacking words when I read what the glorious government of your country is going to do with copyright laws! Not that it would affect me, no one's going to steal my stuff but nonetheless... I'd say this new law were ridiculous weren't it so sad - and impertinent! or should I say shameless?

The borg queen.. Wonder if many read the story under it. I do not know what the government of your country (US I suspect) has gotten in mind now, so I do not know what is happening, all I know that some governments all over the world are getting stranger and stranger. people working for governments want to keep working for governemnts, so they make up new laws and ideas all the time... just as city governments renew (once beautiful) cities all the time with crazy roadblocks, ugly highrize and other idiotric things as a result. But.. there will never be a time when they say .. we are done.. the country is ready, the city is finished.. we go home and leave only a small group to monitor the whole thing.. They will aaaaaaallllllllllllways come up with new things.. and when there is nothing wise to do.. they come up with ugly nasty things... look around you.. the proof is out there :) and resistance is.... Pretty Borg !

I don't consider your comment to be out of step Bill. I consider the copyright law, as it stood, was precarious in any case and I know of artists who have left here, because of that. Theft of our work, is rife as far as I'm concerned and it is blatantly obvious, that matters will only worsen. This is beautiful work Bill and no doubt, like so many other beautiful pieces, will end up getting printed off and sold at some extortionate price and we will get zilch for our troubles! Wouldn't it be nice, if for once, legislation was put in place that protected the artist, without the need for legal representation at the artist's own expense. The only justice here, is our civil rights and not because of an oil rich, comparatively untapped resource. I'm with you Bill. Well said! Steve :o)
