Description


The last of my Avian series, the feather I've been working on is apparently a semiplume. I'm informed that semiplumes are found between other feathers, providing an additional layer of warmth and helping to maintain the smooth, streamlined shape of the bird. You learn something new every day. I must say it has felt strange putting somewhat similar images from the same subject on day to day. Many thanks for viewing and/or commenting on my work.
