Description
I'm a Tolkien fan, maybe you have noticed it before. This is one of my favourite chapters in LotR. I used gouache paint on paper.

Strange (and a compliment), I knew this was Tolkien from the thumbnail. I've just finished recording the three films to DVD so I've been immersed. Sam's unflinching loyalty gave a rewarding depth.
