Description

Still playing with the Dystopian Goliath MST. More information available at http://www.team-dystopia.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=199 A rough cross between a guard tower and an attack helicopter, this weapons platform is equipped with 12 main guns distributed on 6 turrets, with 24 pulse laser cannons deployed on the underside. It has 144 multi-role long range missiles, 54 medium range missiles and 6 tactical nuclear devices. In addition to a complete array of sensors and counter measures, Goliath is equipped with a full electronic warfare package including an EMP generator with a known effective range of up to a 5 kilometer radius. Goliath's defenses include a layered composite armor with a molecular density inversely proportional to it's physical weight, mixed in with polymers that enhance stealth properties, effectively hardening the Goliath versus EMP effects, and have superior flame suppression properties. Each Goliath is also equipped with a shield generator that has recently been modified to also function as a cloaking device. The Goliath MST can be operated by a single person, but has an optimum crew recommendation of four. Goliath has crew space for up to 10 persons with sufficient supplies for a four month tour of duty. Each Goliath is also equipped with 30 jump pack equipped Drone Troopers as an infantry complement. It should also be noted that a standard unit will have four Goliath MST units working in close cooperation. Three will be deployed in a staggered base triangle configuration of varying altitudes with the fourth unit in overwatch position to create a 3-point pyramid. As always, thank you very much for taking the time to view this image.

That's one of the things I love the most about your stuff Moe--the amount of thought and detail that goes into the item's backstory and functionality. Awesome work!
