Description
For those that haven't learned yet, members on my Friends List at MySpace always has a chance to win a ONE FREE DRAWING of their choice. But winning is a Secret that they have to figure out on their own.
Anyway, a friend at Blackwell F/X named Dennis (aka: Otis) was one to many to win. But unlike the others, he's askedd for a FAN ART peice. His choice was Mystique. Unfortaintly, I've never drawn her before and it's been years since I've seen her comic book form. My old comic collection didn't help either, since she was only in one of them. And in that one, she's not wearing her costume, so what you see is based off of memory. So ignore any (I'm sure there are some) mistakes in her costume.
I hate drawing Realistic guns. but I tried to make it look as real as possible. I was going to put a gun in her other hand as well, but the first one was big enough a pain that I didn't.
Dennis is a very talented artist that really needds to draw more. He goes for a more realistic approuch then I. Super job, Richard...just a suggestion...if anyone asks you to draw fan art again, just do a search for the character on Google or some other search engine. You'll probably find plenty of pieces to choose from for costume ideas. Also...you can always try the publishers website. This is another remarkable piece! Keep up the great work!!!

Mystique is an interestin character. I think you did a good job here. I don't think some costume alterin is all that bad. Nothing wrong with wingin it sometimes. One often surprises one self.
