Shot taken at Sandsend Beach, during my lone wandering on Saturday. I felt so free, like this bird. The day glorious but terribly cold. I walked fast!!! Have a wonderful eventime. Hugs. Diane.

Such a lovely place to walk but it does look chilly. I'm all for walking alone but you seem to do a lot of it. Maybe drag that ass down there with you or borrow a neighbor's dog for company... Ah, I meant one of the cute asses you recently displayed...ah, posted... photos of asses you know. Geez... you get it I'm sure. :-)

Great photo Di showing the waves rolling in on a cold winter's day. Sandsend has its own distinctive feel which you have captured here. Maybe your muse reveals itself when allowed to wander unfettered.

Not living near a beach, but having had the experience, I can just feel the wind, hear the birds, smell the salt sea, and it makes me wish to be near the beach again. Lovely image, Di, thanks for bring a memory so vividly to life!! :))

A lovely winter beach scene, you certainly went a long way on Saturday but as you say nice to be alone sometimes. I love how you got the seagull just in the right spot. Spring will soon be with you. After a lovely hot spell we have the fire on today, very changeable.

@yesitis3/Dear Richard, Plenty of fish to be caught on these shores. Uncle Bill, my neighbour fishes, we dine on dawn caught cod, haddock, lobster and crab in season. I bake for Uncle Bill, He likes my cakes :-) I make him a roast dinner when we have one.. to give back the gift. No money ever changes hands. We look after each other here. Wish you lived nearer me, Richard. Hugs. Di.
