Wonderful image. A single stately tree in an otherwise empty field, flourishing on its own, alive, enduring. One often forgets ones strength until standing alone and surviving. Or perhaps, truth tell us of a tree that selfishly suctions all waters, depriving all else of the chance to survive and, in so doing, remains solitary. A mystery to contemplate..... Your image is breathtaking. Thank you for sharing.

Alone in a sea of wheat(?). I wonder, did they leave trees in the fields so that the farm hands would have a shady place to rest, or was it for aesthetics. :)
