This is fantastic. The sky haze in the distance is perfect with a nice, subtle curve. The world looks very realistic as well. And (of course) the design and detailing of your spaceship is great. And the story line? Icing on the cake. I am wondering if you might "ding up" the ship a tad to make it look more used. I'm not great at 3D stuff, but I'm wondering if you could add a mask with some rust and grime? I suspect this might give you an added bit of realism that might be missed by many, but which would nevertheless enhance things just a tad more. Regardless, amazing work.

ah Mark! I don't know which I like best, your writing or your rendering. Dead heat I guess. Fine render, but I really like the story you've created here.

Another killer piece of work! Only thing I can say is it's hard to imagine such a solid looking ship having mechanical problems! I guess it's like the old adage: doesn't matter how good looking she is, there's someone somewhere sick of putting up with her s**t! Brave, well done, great work.

Cecila's right: on small ships like this it's the navigator who typically ends up taking over when someone else fails to do their job... Excellent vignette, Mark!

Love it! Pefect lighting and orbital scene, and the flat drab military colors for the ship makes this image a winner !

The "earth from space" feel to this picture is really good.
