Description

Hi guys, Huuuge time without posting. I'm preparing a present for my girlfriend and here is a WIP. I'm not sure if the "nightish" look is appropriate, any comment about the colours? thanx Vasq

I forgot to mention; it's made in Illustrator.

Really beautifully drawn. Maybe there are a little too many different strong hues/elements... the circle and the frame take attention away from the gorgeous lady with the calla in her hair. I'm sure you'll make this picture really wonderful!

Oh, very nice! I agree with Titta. The strong colors in the frame and medallion make this a little too busy, and draw my eye away from the main subject. The "nightish" background is perfect. I hope you'll post the final version so we can see what you decided to do! This is beautiful work - quite lovely.

I think it's a wonderful image, beautifully done, but my preference would be to go with the dark background and make it a bit more blue and change the purple in the center, to a lighter shade of blue, also somewhat desaturated so as not to take away from the woman. Or change the back to dark purple and deasaturate what you have in the center a bit.

I love the design...especially the lady and medallion. The background looks wonderful to me but I would tone down the frame (red and white) to something less distracting from this gorgeously crafted lady.
