This is the old road to Marco Island now only accessible by bicycle or walking, a beautiful quiet 4 mile journey.

I do enjoy a quiet walk, however this jungle would have calls from many birds and other unseen creatures would it not? I love the detail (well worth a zoom-in) and, of course, the road that leads ever on.....

Rona, for some reason the only sounds we heard today were catbird calls. I think this is truly a look at the Florida of long ago, before the developers came.
