Leaving the Olgas for now. Thank you to all who viewed this series and offered helpful comments and much appreciated kudos. I have gained immensely from finally contributing a few pics of my own.

Splendid display of harsh country and bwautiful earthly colored mountain formations. This part reminds me so much of the the Northern Cape in South Africa.

Magic point of view on these incredible stones. And this red ground make a fantastic contrast. I live in New Caledonia for some years, and there we had the same colors too. A superb shot !

Nice composition! It really does separate the beginning of the journey from the departure point!
