Description

Since upgrading from my Nikon point and shoot to the Canon 30D, 2-1/2 months ago, I have constantly tried to photograph birds. Their fast action and my total lack of DSLR knowledge left me frustrated with lots of blurry wing shots, poor focus and high noise. But with the inspiration of the fine images here on RR by some very talented artists, I think I finally made a tiny bit of progress. Three gentlemen, in particular, have been kind enough to take the time to give advice to this fledgling, offering tips and suggestions. So... Thank you, Danny! Thank you, John! Thank you, Klaus! Your advice has been invaluable! I very much appreciate the emails, IM's, chats, and sharing of your knowledge and technique. I am sure these three fellas have helped many more people besides just myself here, and they are priceless assets to our corner of Renderosity! I have years to go before I even begin to understand the finer points, probably won't live long enough to understand it all. But it sure is fun trying, well... on most days, that is! :) I dedicate this shot to "danob", to "monjo71", and to "kjpweb". Thanks very kindly, guys! And thanks to all of you for your kind support. It is most appreciated! Hugs....:)...Maria

Maria a truly stunning image! I am so amazed at the light flare that you captured. It is a incredibly clear image! It is a wonderful dedi and glad that these gentlemen have been kind enough to help you! I do have to agree that the frame may be just a little to overwhelming. Well done!

Birds can be tough to catch especially on the wing so to speak. You caught this guy just fine. :)
