Wow! This is the best looking piece of art I have seen on here in a long time! This style of painting is just perfect. I would like to make a request for many, many more items in this style! Was this drawn by you as well, or did you use the inks and make sure to cover them all up? Amazing!

Thank you all for the more than kind comments. I did not do the Pencils on this one :(. There were never any inks. This is a complete paint "over" I used the pencils as a guide. Using photoshop I painted underneath the pencils and after I was done, I hid the pencils and saved this image. I am currently working on a Wolverine "Painted" Style image. I just cleaned up the pencils and all that. I will start flatting this evening after work. Then only difference between my "painted" style and my "mainstream" is time. It does take longer to "Paint" than to do the other. The process of flatting is the same with either style I do. I can create the Painted style using any of the flats I have done so far. And because you all like this style I just might have to do that. This is my style of choice. I had painted portraits/landscapes/animals etc.. on canvas long before I ever got into the comic business. My painted style will be reserved for only pin-ups and covers right now. Once again thank you folks so much. I am also currently creating a new comic series (My own), which I should have a preview/sketch book for the San Diego International ComicCon. I do not want to "Spoil" the unveiling. It has to stay "Top Secret" until then or right before then. Enjoy Marc
