Description

I went to a computer store to buy a larger power supply and this little guy was on the handrail when I came out. I went to grab my camera to take pictures of it.sad to say it was not long for the world. I wanted to try and take him but I knew it had been injured and did not want to cause it more stress thanks for viewing and comment

Sweet litle bird - can you tell me the name of this species - it looks a little like our Jay that likes woodland habitats in England !

Sometimes they fly into windows. The cedar waxwings are in the Everglades here and in the parks by the river.

I have such a tender heart for birds. I raised a robin in my drawer at work and I know how smart they can be. My bird recognized me and followed me around. I would have wanted to try to help him but I think you are right about getting more hurt if you did. I once caught 3 sparrows outside of a store that were covered in a sticky goop used to keep birds away from nesting in signs. It is illegal but someone used it on them. I tried to clean them but it would not come off. I took them the next day to the bird sanctuary but they told me they would probably die...but at least in a dark corner in peace....not scared to death outside a busy store front.
