Description

Everybody needs structure. It's part of the dance. It's the key to quantum mechanics. Haven't you heard of "structured programming"? and modules? These are what you see as a tug pulls them by or as you walk past them lined up in an alleyway as you walk through the buildings in the cross direction. Does the belly really have longerons of hat section with tiny double rivets along top and bottom? How come z-sections are not used like on wing bottom skins? Is there only one frame between each window port? Weren't there two tabs above and below each wkindow port as if ribs tied in there? The random associations with structure of even a lot of walking through the plant cannot really answer these questions. Didn't the drawings and the mockups confirm some of these things? What about the nose mockups of concepts never built and of things tested in the scrap yard that was more of an archive? This was no college classroom and no professors prevailed over it.

Dear Dale, Things are getting even crazier!! Ive had a LOT of white knuckles today. In a two hour session on the flight simulator you will see more emergency situations that youre likely to in a whole career of real flying!! Of course, the stakes are a little different. In the real thing you can break your neck - on the simulator only your ego gets broken!!!! While Im on vacation and doing pilot training, Im going to be doing a lot of cut and pasting with just a tiny little real comment added!! Im really sorry, but I just dont have any time right now to write my usual wacky stuff! You wouldnt not believe how many manuals Ive got to wade through!!! If you havent see it already, check out Meredith_0256 to get the full story of why Im missing in action. Despite THE Boss Help! e-mail yesterday, he and the digitals seem to be getting along fine! In fact, I had an e-mail from Digital today with good news! She got a nice little raise from THE Boss!!! And I got an E-mail from him too with good news!! Hes no longer locked inside the mens restroom!!! ;-) It makes me proud how well Ive taught that girl!!! ;-) Ill be back on March 3rd!! Great assembly picture!! I hope I get achance to tour Cessna at some point!! I'm negotiating for a trip over there!!! Nice job on the strongback!!!! Love ya!!! Meredith Meredith Elaine Wilson - MeredithLand

Back in the late 80s early 90s the actual time escapes me, I was privileged to visit on business the Boeing Plant in Seattle to witness the co-ordination and the 90 degree rotation of a nearly complete C-5 Galaxy via crane to its final assembly position. A thing I will never forget.
