Description

Probably the hardest image I've ever made. Perhaps not technically, but definitely emotionally. Dedicated to my friend, Church, who was murdered in Sept. 2005 while out trying to help people during Hurricane Katrina. Church was an EMT. I received news that he had gone out on a call and had not been heard from again. A few days later, he and his partner's bodies were found in a ditch full of water. They had been shot and left to die. Their ambulance had been stolen and to my knowledge was never recovered. He was 28 years old, with a heart of gold. He helped me through some of the most emotionally difficult times in my life. He was a friend, a brother, a lifeboat when I needed someone the most. He died doing what he loved... helping people. I loved him. I miss him. I remember him. And now, finally, with this image... I have grieved him. He would have been 30 years old today. R.I.P. Church ... and Happy Birthday, sweetheart. ------------ Credits: Ozone Clothing - DAZ Ground/Headstone - DAZ Rose - RDNA
