Dear Mike, Im getting down to first big hurdle - Ive got FAA checkrides tomorrow afternoon!! More nail biting but the good thing is that I wont be in the simulator but in the real thing!! Unkind people will doubtlessly make tacky comments about taking cover with a blond in the left seat of a Cessna Citation CJ3 bizjet flying overhead!! (The grief I have to put up with is pretty awful!!!) I finally finished up during lunch today the next part of the Lets Make Money Series which is actually two posts because of the stupid 25,000 character limit! While Im on vacation and doing pilot training, Im going to need to continue doing a lot of cut and pasting with just a tiny little real comment added!! Im really sorry, but I just dont have the time right now to write my usual wacko stuff! Ill be back on March 3rd!! Very creative!! Looks really nice and a very different and original portrait idea!!! Nice work with all the "reeds!" I don't know enough about the rendering time with focal blur, but I do stuff like that by rendering the background stuff, blurring it in post, then using it as a background picture in Poser - instant render - just somethign to thing about!!!! Love ya!!! Meredith

I love it when you play around with stuff, esperimenting, etc. This is fantastic, an unusual and creative kind of portrait - love the shadow of the reeds on her face, and the focal blur turned out just right. Excellent and original!!
