Description

I spotted this old building while out walking today. I walked about eight miles today which is not bad. According to my advisor (DKR), a longbarn was also designed to repel invaders and had the narrow slots through which an arrow could be fired. Not a lot of people know this.

Great pastoral scene with the mozaic of interesting buildings. The full view displays excellent detail. Clever use of the branches to define an upper border to the frame. Good to see your work on RR and good luck with the excercises Sir David, keep it up.

A wonderful capture, Robbie. I too like this walk, up by Tamar's. Love the silence in this capture. So wish Goha could sit on this wall with US! Hugs. Wodge.

You are truly blessed to live in such a wondrous place with such a lovely companion! An idyllic place, I too love the mossy wall, Nature's upholstery as it were. Thanks for the history on the place, I wonder now though, di the sheep favor the English long bow, or the more handy crossbow? BJ
