Je länger man malt, desto mehr ist man Lehrling The longer you paint the more you are an apprentice.

Brief introduction: SaintFox is
-a woman born 1962 at the north sea coast of Germany.
-moved to the german midwest in 1996
-to a small town that offers a lot of medieval inspiration
-has at least two souls
...and about the nick: It's a mixture of my haircolor and a tattooed fox cub that I wear and that looks so saintly as a vegetarian. As long as I can think I enjoyed being creative - and I always loved learning something new! As I had my first look here I so much wanted to do images like the ones I saw in the gallery. But it took me several years to be brave enough to post my first image here. After all I do not understand anymore what made me hesitate so long... I'm a professional artist/illustrator, not at least because of the permanent encouragement of the "Captain of my heart", he's my muse, my secretary, my "wonderwall" against those things that are able to disturb creative processes so easily. Most of my work is published by a german gallery in Gelsenkirchen and available at my own homepage, too. In late 2005 I wask asked for my first collaborated works and so I finally found a second profession in doing my own characters and textures what enables me to give my images even more personal style.
Whenever I start to work on something new - especially when working with characters - there is a moment when the bundle of polygons and pixels suddenly seems to look at me from the other side of the monitor, it's the moment when my creations get personality. This is, at least, what I like to "transport" with my products: artist tools that are able to inspire the people that work with them because they have a kind of "virtual soul".
A woman under influence
Major influences on my work come from other admired artists and music. Some of my favorites: Jan Vermeer van Delft James Jaques Tissot Rembrandt van Rijn Hajime Sorayama Olivia De Berardinis Marcus Gray Herb Ritts Helmut Newton Alberto Vargas Ricky Carralero Gerald Brom ...and, regarding the feelings that I have when doing my characters: Dr. Viktor Frankenstein! Music: Too much to count, alternative and classics preferred but sometimes it has to be soul or jazz, too. The second large influence are people I met here: They comment on my images and help me to enhance them, they share their knowledge and finally some of them decided to involve me in their projects. For me (as I grew up in the before-internet-age) it's still some kind of miracle that people are able to work together independent of where they live.
...and, before I forget, the strongest influence during the last years came from some lines I read about 15 years ago:
Beauty is an experience, nothing else. It is not a fixed pattern or an arrangement of features. It is something felt, a glow or a communicated sense of fineness. What ails us is that our sense of beauty is so bruised and blunted, we miss all the best.
D.H. Lawrence

Well worth the wait! Gorgeous!

She is luxurious! And Ten is also a good rating for a woman (as in the movie) which this one very certainly does rate. I wish I could rate this render a 10.

I think it turned out nice, sorry to here of you problems. I used to have that problem with poser 6. now I only seem to have that problem if I put more than 15 objects in the scene, but I got around that with Carera which I have yet to find an upper limit, but I have gotten to 2.5 hrs to render a scene

Beautiful Meike, soft but excellent series! Hugssssssssss

It's real art to render 15 images of the same theme and not to bother people. But the bigger art is to keep them on and make them desire the next render :P I think I said one of the last two images was my favorite- I deny- this one it is ^^

I can defintely say she lives up to her number! I don't how your original vision would have turned out but I'm more than happy with the result you shared here.

I really like the number 10. The blue is very beautiful and the pose very elegant as promised! It's a great series and I'm looking forward to #11. I've the same problem with an image that cannot be rendered. I thought Poser 7 would had fixed the problem but obvieously hasn't and I have no clue how to achieve the desired effects with less figures and props... sigh

Dear Meike, Im getting down to first big hurdle - Ive got FAA checkrides tomorrow afternoon!! More nail biting but the good thing is that I wont be in the simulator but in the real thing!! Unkind people will doubtlessly make tacky comments about taking cover with a blond in the left seat of a Cessna Citation CJ3 bizjet flying overhead!! (The grief I have to put up with is pretty awful!!!) I finally finished up during lunch today the next part of the Lets Make Money Series which is actually two posts because of the stupid 25,000 character limit! While Im on vacation and doing pilot training, Im going to need to continue doing a lot of cut and pasting with just a tiny little real comment added!! Im really sorry, but I just dont have the time right now to write my usual wacko stuff! Ill be back on March 3rd!! Super nice joband a super series!! I've looked over all of them and they are all fantastic!! When you run into rendering grief like that, try doing it in two parts - the gal in one and the props in another - then put them together in post!! Just something that might help out at times. Nice jobwiththe bikinit and morphs!!! Love ya!!! Meredith

Okaaaay.... I really really love the series and you know this... (herrjemine, wenn ich schon soooo anfange...) everything is very nice, especially the bikini and the material settings are magnificent... so please don't be mad at me... but... to me something's wrong with the shadows... she looks like she's floating to me... maybe it is just me... hugz-hugz-hugz

My last render had a similar problem. I had to render it in sections! Very elegant render, and I don't mind the binkini (Psychonaut Luves Bikinis). When you run out of pool balls, can you invent some more? :D
