Description

It was quite windy the day I took this shot as you can well see by the way the swans feathers are blowing in the wind. I'd like to thank you all for the support I've received at RR. It is much appreciated. Please take the time to view the larger image. It's worth your time.

Ruffled feathers. Still a very good and detailed capture. The red beak adds spice to the display.

Woe! That's a wind. Several native tribes made winter capes from feathers because of the exceptional warmth and protection they provided. Deer and antelopes were available for this but they preferred turkey feathers and other larger birds' feathers to be woven into the grasses to make the capes. It was much warmer. Wonderful shot.
