Simon G2 and Jessi G2 by e-Frontier Rendered in Poser 7 with HDR Shop lighting. Minimal layer adjustments in Photoshop CS. =================================================== Jessi G2 was released yesterday with the headline she was their biggest release ever. It just seems that EF could have been a little more ambitious with her - especially considering that this G2 line is their flagship figures. Again, this will be yet another figure that the consumer will have to buy the face morphs from RDNA is order to make her more versatile. It's good that Colm does such a good job with those morphs, but why not just hire him to prep her for her base figure. It would certainly give people more incentive to invest in her. The hair is extremely unrealistic and the only clothing option she comes with is a bikini. The fortunate aspect is that she is free to anyone who bought Poser 6 or 7. Maybe my disappointment is in the general evolution of poser figures as of late. This is probably compounded by the fact that EF is the company which produces poser and further compounded by the fact that they have several venders at their conveinence...

Dear Jeremy, Im getting down to first big hurdle - Ive got FAA checkrides tomorrow afternoon!! More nail biting but the good thing is that I wont be in the simulator but in the real thing!! Unkind people will doubtlessly make tacky comments about taking cover with a blond in the left seat of a Cessna Citation CJ3 bizjet flying overhead!! (The grief I have to put up with is pretty awful!!!) I finally finished up during lunch today the next part of the Lets Make Money Series which is actually two posts because of the stupid 25,000 character limit! While Im on vacation and doing pilot training, Im going to need to continue doing a lot of cut and pasting with just a tiny little real comment added!! Im really sorry, but I just dont have the time right now to write my usual wacko stuff! Ill be back on March 3rd!! Brrrr - that looks really cold!! Particularly with the wind blowing her hair. The body language also says cold!! Very good work! I've been down the road of producing other Poser characters. The problem is DAZ - they've got to big of installed base of "Add-ons" that a new character just can't compete. I've run the numbers and business plan to death and the number just won't work!!! It's a sad digital world!!! Love ya!!! Meredith Meredith Elaine Wilson - MeredithLand

Whoa she's turned out really lovely! But let's have it, underneath those coats are entire arsenals of guns, explosives, and tight leather, right? :D

Very nice and interesting Jeremy, I would say "educational" image. My comments will be in 2 directions: i) the clothes that you have put seem to fold much better than the ones of older figures, I noticed also that when I compared Jessi G1's ones to Sydney's ones (see my post Sydney, Jessica and Benedikt in the Pad). This is far from really realistic (there is a big difference with a real coat you take with a photo camera), but we are in the good path to hope that in 3 to 5 years we reach a totally realistic appearance and it will become impossible to distinguish between a photo of a real person and of a 3D render. ii) I fand Sydney and Simon fantastic characters in the sense that they are different from blank ones, such as cloth-wearing mannikins, same for the 3 G2 men (see my today post): Sydney, Simon and the 3 G2 men have a real and interesting flavor! However, I was not enchanted by the new Jessi. I like very much the old one because she is quite different both from the Victorias who are much taller and from Sydney, who is a small-sized woman too (not so much as Miki who is really VERY small), but much slenderer, as Jessi G1 has very visible muscles and I think that she makes a perfect action heroin. This Jessi G2 seems me much more a blank woman, as V3 and V4 are (not Grace who looks fantastic). However, with Poser7 new tools, one can presume that it is possible to change Jessi G2 significantly to reach very interesting results, especially in few days when the Face Room shall work in Poser7. Another point is that there is full compatibility between Jessi G2 clothes and the ones of Sydney. Sure that Sydney's wardrobe is limited compared to V4's one, nevertheless it is growing day after day. Hi friends, be optimistic for our 3D Poser/Daz future, we are living a fantastic period! Thanks a lot for sharing Jeremy! I'm always interested by your great experiences! If you did not exist, one had to invent you!
