A flower for us all this Friday. This brave little bloom is growing in my garden. May your day be as bright as she is. Such promise of more beauty to come... Soon. Hugs. Diane.

The first blossoms are always so touching ! The French name of this flower is a "Crocus" if I don't make a mistake... so lovely flower and a beautiful shot as always Di. I like the shadows inside... Another moment of pure Poetry ;o)))) Hugs my friend, and to Sir David too...

Perfect in so many ways. Hard to believe that you are getting the early warmth before us. After all, we are sunny California and doesn't everyone lay out on the beach year-'round in California? LOL... that is, only if you wear your parka. We are a bit warmer here but still expecting more rainover the 3-day weekend. I'm driving up the coastline on Saturday - a 5-hour drive there and 5 more back, and I hear I should not stay over night since Sunday there will be more dusting of snow in the mountains I have to cross to get there. Burrrrrrrrrrrrrr. I can hardly drive in clear weather so driving in a light snow is DEFINITELY out of the question. :-)

Your spring is certainly not far away when the crocus comes out. This is a lovely shot as they are so small aren't they. My autumn crocus are coming out here so winter isn't far away. The autumn ones are bigger and I have only seen mauve ones.

Beautiful capture, Di, you are fortunate, the ones I recently posted were from a year ago, glad to see it is starting over there, because that means we will have it over here soon, because you are usually a few months before us on the weather changes here, I can't wait, hate this cold weather!
