The intelligent dragons on 40 - Eridani 2 enjoy the company of humans, and likewise. Humans are mining metals on several of the moons of their planet and have established a base on the planet itself. In exchange for the base, humans are providing the dragons with technology to assist with terraforming. The dragons world is a harsh one, as Eridani is a triple star system, and Eridani C is a flare star which makes their planetary environment highly variable.
