Description

P6/Sketchup5/V6I/PSCS2 I first met the Widow Mathers and her son on a survey expedition for the Colonial Army. They had been living on their farm, barely surviving the harsh, mid-western winters. Her husband had died the year before in an accident in Kawgoe, scavenging for things from the bad times. Although I knew losing him was hard, he was punished for his blasphemy in searching out such relics, and I knew God's Will was just. I took this photo as I left them to make my way further west. It's been many years now, last I heard the Widow had died and her son was a clerk for the Ministry of Vigilance. The farm is probably long gone now, after the Ministry began enforcing the twenty league zone.
