Description
Apologies for the title, I just couldn't think of anything :P
I wanted to try to see how it would work to convert some conforming clothing to dynamic, so I tested the ravyn dress for A3 (turned out it was a bad choice for a test lol).
To make a long story somewhat short, you can:
1. Open a clean Poser window.
2. Load the piece of conforming clothing you want to convert.
3. Export it as an .obj and save it somewhere on your HD.
4. Open a new Poser window and load your figure (A3, V3 etc.), then import the saved .obj.
5. Resize and move the clothing so it fits the figure (I had some issues with it coming back into Poser somewhat bigger than what was exported, but just turn the scale dial a bit and problem solved).
6. Now you're ready to use it as a normal piece of dynamic clothing. It remembers the textures as well, when you export and import as .obj, so that's not a problem.
There is one but though. When you setup your clothing simulation, you have to remember to click the "Edit Constrained Group" and select the materials you don't want to be dynamic. As in my example here, I selected the metal bits, so they wouldn't "melt" and look funny during the simulation. You obviously don't have to worry about this if the piece of clothing you work with doesn't have any solid parts like chains or buckles or anything like that.
Oh and btw, maybe there is a much easier way to do this, then please let me know lol. I just worked this out by playing around and it wasn't that much work really, so I thought I'd share it (not that it's anything new, but I figured some might not know).
Ok enough rambling, thanks for looking and have a great day!

Gha, excellent render, and great cloth work. I've done a bit with it in the past but for the most part i've found it to be more trouble than it's worth. Ah well, mabye one i'll give it another shot. in any event, excellent work here!
