Description

Here is the story behind this image: This weekend I drove 150 miles to the state of Iowa to specifically view and photograph these beautiful north american endangered birds, the bald eagles, in the wild. One would have to appreciate these series of images that I will be posting knowing the weather conditions in which I took these pictures. The wind chill factor temperature was -25 degrees fahrenheit, -32 degrees celsius. This image was taken after a total of 7 hours of waiting in the absolutly brutal temperatures. Any movements scares these birds, so being still is absolutly essential. But at the end, when you look at your images, you say to youself, it was all worth it. Here is some technical info on the image: Tv(Shutter Speed) 1/640Sec. Av(Aperture Value) F8.0 Exposure Compensation +1 ISO Speed 320 Focal Length 340.0 mm Thank you all for viewing. Any criticisms/comments are absolutly welcomed. Hadi

After enduring the brutaly cold temps, I'm glad that this shot presented it'self. I know the feeling of having to wait for your shot, and hoping your ready when it presents it's self. A sweet shot here with some nice detail and lighting to show this predators features. A shot to be proud of for sure! Aloha!

You are more brave then I. I don't think I could brave that much cold even for such a glorious image. I shall have to enjoy yours instead. Thank you for sharing it.
