Description

Late spring / early summer in the valley... Focus here very much on vegetation and ecosystem design, and trying to catch the overall mood. Toolbox: Vue 5 Infinite, Onyxtree, Bantam3D grassmaker. Horses from Poser. "Wooden Hut" by "svenart" - thanks! The rest of the objects & textures by me. 3 hrs. render in "Broadcast" with global ambience. Minor corrections, framing & signature with Photoshop. Thanks for viewing, and for any comments etc. you may leave. As always I'll appreciate them very much. Have a nice day - Lars

Sheesh!, make a killer realistic scene why don't ya!? LOL That is awesome! But mostly, I appreicate the more true to the way nature fits itself together aspect that you have your scene setup as. First thing, besides the obvious perfect placements of the various types of plants (just like in real life) is that you didn't do what a lot of people do and over do the background trees. They are more seperated and very tall and look just like how they really look in a forest setting. And then of course, you have that nice plush patch of grass and flowers on the other side of the fence and a more concievavle all around grassy area within the fenced in areas where the horses are, also just like it would really look like. And whether or not this part was intentinal, I don't know, but it almost looks like a slightly worn path near the fence where someone (or animals) have trodded a few times in the past. And lastly, the seperation of tree types makes it just like how it is in places like that where a meddow/valley meets up with actual mountains. The atmosphere is great too of course. 5 stars from me........md :)
