Description

Crayfish Etouffee, Potato Salad, home made Freach Bread, Green Beans. That is what I eat last night at Cafe Des Amis in Breaux Bridge. Fist time I eat there and it was good too. Plus it was the only cafe open down town to 9:30 p.m. I got there around 6 P.M. and was surpise they rolled up the sidewalks. So I saw this place and when in and ate. The food is not pepper hot but if you like there the hot sauce on the table. I put about 10 shakes on it. You can tell where some one came from in Louisiana by just watching how many shakes they do with the hot sauce on they food. South cental louisiana is about 10 nothth Louisiana is one or two. Baton Rouge is about three. west Louisian is about three too. so you may get that mix up. I like to shoot with the natural lighting. That is why this is a little dark. thanks for the comments and all

I knew exactly what that was when I saw it .Now I am hungry. I was rasied in New Orleans but spent sometime in Chauvan/Bayou Blue so I am a 8 to 10 shaker myself.Excellent shot Jock now send me some up here ;)Bet the crawfish bisque is pretty good there to

Awww, my favorite foods - anything Cajun! LOL. A bit of fried gator...a table full of boiled crawfish... Etouffee! OOOOOO, the best! Great photos and wonderful subject!

Was at the Jazz and Heritage Fesitval in Naw 'Lins (New Orleans) once and had crayfish etouffee, alligator stew, red beans and rice, and a lot of boiled crawdads. Good eating :) PS-that green thing on your rice...well, I thought it was a bug when I first looked at the image, like a katydid, lol.
