I was quite pleased with the progress reports of Nerys that Tomkins had given me. She was a fast learner. Soon she would be ready. Nerys did not know it yet, but she was going to go on a long and arduous journey. We both were. A perilous journey it would be. Below the surface and deep into the abyss of the under surface world, lie a whole different world that few men ever see. A world that was dimly lit, but just as real as the surface world. There we would seek out a source that would help bring to surface the magic that was within Nerys.
