Description
A common summertime sight where I live is the red-winged blackbird. I took this shot last summer. It's been sitting on my hard-drive ever since :P

This is one of the most common birds in this area. We have so many fields and broad, deep irrigation ditches and these birds are thick as flies over and in the fields. I love their colorful wing spots. Great shot.
