Description
Through the distant rumble of far-off explosions and the acrid smell of the modern section of the city burning, the Senate Elders view the destruction before them. They are all that survives of the Senate, and prepare to meet the Conquerors atop the ancient Senate building. On the horizon, the great sun slips quietly beneath the horizon, slipping away like the great civilization that it once bathed in its glorious light for thousands of years...
