If the display was attached to the chair and the chair could rotate about the boom I could say I have seen this at MACASTRO-East in 1970. Up on the wall was a large plastic shet that could be rumpled to simulate the look of the sea by blowing air under it. Not exactly Universal Studios in terms of public access. You had to walk past a gun to get there. But then the gun came to my driveway and met me at a body shop so it's all in the open now.
