This is absolutly awesome! It is a god if I'm not mistaken. I love the detail, was there any P Shop work or did max manage to do all this! Either way it is a fantastic peice of work. This would look great in a frame behind a piece of glass. :) Awesome

A bodhisattva is an extremely enlightened person in buddhism. In old japanese folklore they were heightened to divine proportions, and recieved attributes of gods like multiple arms. Still, Id say this is more like shiva from hinduism. Seems to me this entity has enormous powers, thats a great thing you did when you made this piece of art so i could get the feeling of power from the entity. I cant find anything serious to complain about, Great work! :)

I am sure one could accomplish all of this in max but I find I like the control I get bringing it into photoshop.

This piece really makes me think. I mainly think about the artist, and what he/she's trying to portray with their art. And it's really hard to decide in this image because I don't know if the artist was purposely doing some of the things in the piece of if he/she was just putting a whole bunch of things into one piece just for fun. One of the things that I noticed was the lighting. As you look on the right side, you'll see that the hands are blue. This symbolizes cold and darkness. And on the left, they're a reddish yellow color. This usually simbolyzes warmth and careing. In the hand on the right, there is a galaxy and a planet. Combined with the cold, it makes me think that humans are moving away from their roots/nature and are becoming more accomidated to technology, science, and thinking reather then becoming one with nature. Also, there is a baby on top of the creature/god. This is where life begins. It could mean that if you go left, you'll deal with technology and advancement. If you choose to go to the right however you'll be going toward nature and creation, a more spiritual path. It's up to you, however, at the bottom/end, there is what seems to me like a missile/bomb, and that's how life will end(cease to exist). As for the god, it looks as if it's morphing into half technology half human. This is a very well composed piece. This is the type of are I like to see. Very good job. Keep it up kenbxpst850.
