Description
Alright, this is an image I started a LONG while ago. ACtually initially I had painted a crude version of it on board with acrylics. But when I got my graphire pen I figured I'd try it in photoshop, purely digital. I started it, probably a good 6 months ago or more, and then set it aside, never finishing it. For whatever reason I recently got a "half to paint" bug and I've been tending to some older images, finishing them as well as starting new ones, of which many I'll probably put aside :P Anyways, though I probably should have painted this one larger, it turned out better than I had hoped.
This image was actually initially inspired by a scene I saw in a nature doccumentary of an elaphant standing in tall grass, him and the background hazed in blue, while the foreground was bright with sun. So taken from that I got this. Hope you enjoy!

Now, I'm wondering if the "Half to paint" was a pun on the fact that you are completing half finished work... If so, I'd like to point out a character that is still in need of consideration... But maybe I'll see it for my 50th birthday? :P
