G'day. This is an old praying mantis from my garden. I have a few different types at the momment and some are little green babies only 2cm long. This one was about 5cm long and has gone brown. I dont know whether it goes brown on purpose or maybe its starving and not getting enough to eat. Certainly with our excessive heat wave (30+ deg celcius over the last few weeks)and minimal rain means very little new bugs out there for dinner!!
