Description
When a person died in Ancient Egypt, their heart was weighed against the feather of Ma'at, on a pair of scales. This was done solely by Anubis, but I couldnt squeeze him in lol It is also for this very practice, that the only organ left in tact during the mummification process, was the heart. Osiris would then judge whether or not the person was worthy of entering the afterlife. If the heart was heavy with sin, the demon, Ammut would come and devour the heart, banishing them from the afterlife forever.
Im so cheery, arent I? LOL
Hope you guys have a happy week ;op

LOL! I also read someplace that Maat had a REALLY BIG FEATHER for people that she liked;-) I love the shine you get in your paintings! Everything looks polished and jewel-like. And who knew Hooterbelle could be Egyptian? I really liked her with vamp teeth, btw!
