Description

The Morikami Japanese museum is pictured in the background, nestled in the trees. I can't help but wonder what it would have looked like in an IR photograph if it still wore its shiny black roof tiles. Many were damaged during the recent hurricanes and they ended up removing them all. I suppose it was too costly to replace -- a shame. Many of you have mentioned that you don't normally like infrared photos, but that you like some of my shots. Thank you, I take that as a very high compliment, especially since I consider myself still rather new to it. To you I say try not to think of these as an IR photos and just take them on their own merits. If you don't like the photos, don't blame it on them being IR, blame the photographer! ;^P -----

Exquisitely dramatic! I love the way the sky and lake serve to vignette the brilliance of the garden itself. Beautiful work.

Although the reflections in this are amazing they are almost too distracting for the actual image. Very nice contrast though but I think I'd like this one more if it was not IR.
