Description
Feb 2007.
Near oasis Liwa, in the sands of the Empty Quarter... not so empty here.
This camel was alone, maybe old, strange in the smokes of trash, 30 km far from civilization.

Wow.. very very beautiful

A very intriguing mood in this pict, where there is a lot of colorful trash (is the camel eating this stuff?), maybe plastic bags plus a rusted steel barrel true that the smoke brings life to the composition (but from my seat in front of my Mac I have the impression that it stinks the burnt plastic)! There is a lot of difference between the texture of the foreground, which is rather coarse, and the rest of the picture which is softer and more alike what we usually imagine for a desert. Both Gattone_blu and Janiss say that your image is very beautiful, I would rather say that it is a nice documentary shot! Deserves a 5++ anyway!
