I started Brycing in November of 2003 after being introduced to it through the owner of www.mulawa.net, Peter Hewitt. He created a set of tutorials and sent a group of us a book called Advanced Bryce Creations. His generoisity has led to many hours of joy for me as I create the images you will see in my gallery.
I was able to start Brycing because I no longer worked as a CAD drafter at the local foundry which lost most of its business to overseas businesses. My husband supports me for the time being but says when he retires, I get to go back to work so we have health insurance. We will see :D
Stats: Female, married, no children, brown hair, hazel eyes, glasses, drink Bacardi Limon and diet Pepsi(have since given this up...I still miss it, lol), love to golf, camp, play PC games and Bryce. I used to love to tend my garden so that's where my nick came from...Burpee Seeds.
Boring? Maybe but I'm happy :)

Very cool idea. I still see the hint of a human figure in the junk, which is just as effective IMHO. I kinda feel that I'd like to see more happening where the corrosion collector is absorbing the junk...just a thought.

Not surprisingly civilization is based on violence against people and the environment. The result? Increasing entropy and alienation. Someone has to pick up the mess. Excellent work Nancy.

Wow this is great Nancy! Once you pointed out the figure in the junk, I can see it :) Lots of detail here! I'm going to have to look at it more closely at home. Monitor here at work sucks.

Great atmosphere and lighting. Certainly it's difficult to see a human shape of that pile of junk but the end result it's very good. Interesting idea and composition. Hmmm, maybe that collector should have been a female with a pair of big tanks to keep what she collects! 8-)

Exellent image and I love the concept, it reminds me of a giant figure I saw made of junk, they put up in Bristol, it was huge and represented the amount of rubbish we throw out every year, so Nancy, your image has a green message too.

Am not that optimistic about our environment... I think we will get consumed at the end by the leftover trash... I think we will see our end with society hiding in Politically correct and ergonomic holes in the ground on Penny lane avenue... ;-) Great job Nancy

A very provocative image! The 'Junk Man' is so cool! - Old cars, machine guns, railroad tracks, motel signs, and of course his enTire head (sorry, couldn't be helped) - He's great! I used to make drawings of people made of all kinds of stuff so this takes me back as well as delivering a powerful message. Super job, Nancy!

Nicely done...!!!!!

A fascinating and extremely creative image and I especially like the character who is somewhat of a hero for sucking up all that trash. Man does he have a big job.:o) Superb work. CC
