Description
Bored due to a 2 day render results being poor I needed to divert my attention. Here I played withtrying to achive a more metallic looking Material on a Liquid & structure terrain I was working on. The ring (created by a circle PB response curve);I did think about either post working some details in or amending in other ways but decieded against it.

Sometimes things are done by design other times things are created by mistake/fluke. I went lower to the surface of this terrain & placed a morphgrid & pulled a few points up. I was "wowwed" with the findings which you can see for yourself here:- http://img235.imageshack.us/img235/5207/49191017xp0.jpg ....soz I dont subscribe to Rendo (dont do enough images to warrant it). I`ll be working on developping this as a new project for the freestuff, organic corrosive etc etc :)

If you have made it in the form of a precious ornament is would create much greater effect :-) But in any case the surface has turned out beautiful ... I liked idea of creation of this image!

Interesting experiment. However it looks to be more plastic thn metallic IMHO:)

Good experiment woz, mettallic or plastic it does'nt really mattaer as it looks very slick, and i haven't seen anything like this done with Mojoworld so far. Actually to me it looks like a part fluid part solid thats flowing over and in some sort of circuit board.

I like it a lot Woz!!....I agree with Shaun on the fluid/solid/circuit board thing....I also like the effect the morphgrid has in warping those straight lines!!....Very cool!!

To me it looks like glass but not in the linked picture. Cool stuff.

Ah bad luck on the 2 day render :( This has come out very nicely though - very good sence of metallic materials here.
