More from the Rodeo. This was the first little girl to go in the barrel racing event. She must have been 50 lbs. soaking wet and 4 ft. nothing. If you look at the size of her compared to the horse the difference is quite immense. In this event her size was an advantage for her as the horse was able to run hard with just a little weight on it's back. And run it did!! This was the most impressive ride I saw all day.....This lil cowgirl could ride hard and had no fear of this big horse. It was quite amazing how fast she could ride this horse and stay in control. My hats off to this cowgirl, she was scary to watch as she just let the horse run as fast as it would go. She placed second in this event.....but what a show she put on! This is not cleanest shot, but this lil girl was just too fast.

I agree, she was the most impressive rider for me. She barely touched the stirrups yet she had that horse moving at warp speed. Hats off to this lil-cowgirl. Excellent .. Aloha

I think this is a great action shot, Dave, and I don't even like rodeo. :-) I love the way you captured the look in the horse's eye. He's as much a competitor as she is.

so cool, money can't buy that connection between human and horse....colors are awesome too, the horses socks and her blouse...caldwell should use it in their ads!...the horse looks just as into it as she is :)
