Description

here we see the door to where the food is cooked. I was going to the rest room when I saw how lovely this image would be. I showed and give the young lady a photo of this too for she loved it. i think she may have loved it more than her photo I give her. She is taken photography. I left one for the owner too. He was not there. I go back to check to see if he got it. I think the help that is show here may have got it. Oh well that life. Plus I like to give him maybe two more photos and see what he thinks. Never can tell where it will led too. I got the ideal of giveing photos away by watch the doc. channel. This Photographer went to Hatie[misspelled] but he noted the people did not like to be photo at all there. He went to a village and he liked to photo it but the people told him to leave. As he was going out of town he did took a photo of a child playing. The next day he find the mother and give her the photo of her child. It was the only photo of her child she had and the village open up to him. He always give the people there a photo of themselfs. He went to give a old man his photo one day but he die the night before and he give it to his son who cried for that was the only thing he had of his dad. This was done in the 1950's so he had to do this in a dark room himself. Wish I know the photographer name; but that is what I learn so I going to try it. May open doors up that other wises may be closed. Thinks for looking and comments

I think this is a spectacular shot! You have an excellent eye for the unusual in the everday. Giving people copies of photos you took of them or things that belong to them is a wonderful thing, both as a good will gesture, and as key to open doors!

Dear Jock, Elvis and the elves managed to somehow magically get a few pictures of the Citation X that I put into a collage I just posted!! It is QUITE a hotrod!! And its also quite a handful to manage! So far, Ive stayed mostly out of trouble, but Ive shoved the power back up during an approach more than once so I could go around and try it again!! Its a lot of fun but a real nail biter at times!! While Im on vacation and doing pilot training, Im going to need to continue doing a lot of cut and pasting with just a tiny little real comment added!! Im really sorry, but I just dont have much time right now to write my usual wacko stuff! Ill be back on March 3rd!! You make a very good point about opening doors!!! See if you can do a deal where you give them some photos - and in return they let you hang some more of your stuff on their walls - and with a price tag on it!!!!!!! Think about it - more people go to restaurants than to art galleries!!!! I'll bet some of your local photos like of Lake Martin would sell pretty well!!!! Super job with the doors!!! The soft green color and the geometry really make a striking look!!! Super photograph!!!! Love ya!!! Meredith Meredith Elaine Wilson - MeredithLand

Excellent capture Jock, this is as candid as one can get. Busy in the kitchen and unaware of you outside. Yes giving a copy of the photo to the person is a good idea, a 6x4 is a good size and if the person seems interested you could suggest that you could do them a framed enlargement for a certain price, I worked in photography many years ago and that was a good way to get a potential customer interested. I had my own studio then but thats all gone now and I only do photography as a hobby these days and I am finding I am getting more fun out of it lol!. Well done Jock!
