this is outside St George,Utah.some time I want to be able to go over to these mountains for an up and close experience.I was on the highway and the base is maybe only 1/2 mile from the road thanks for your look see and any comments

The texture of the mountains is so unique. It reminds me of when you pour a thick batter out of a pan and it makes those ripples as it goes. Fantastic image and thank you for sharing!!! HUGS Maria

Dear Richard, I don't recall this exact view, but the formations in that area are really magical!! IT's pretty amazing to thing of the time and immense pressure it took to warp the strata like that!!! The whole area is amazing - I love seeing the sites of Utah!!!!! Love ya!!!
