Wonderful poem of a let down, but also with an ending that shows one is not defeated. I think the let down give us the opportunity to grow in strength, they strengthen our will, if we let them. Hugs, x:)

Let down by the expectation of being good enough to pass in someone elses eyes only to find out, ........ you will never be good enough ion their eyes. It is the same when someone says: "Respect is Earned Not Given", translation: "You will never gain my respect"!!!! Sad but true, but it is the trials of life that build the character, because sheltering only produces loneliness! Top Notch work here :^)
