this looks like the kinda pictures you see when scientists zoom in on your skin... Did you zoom in on v4???lol

no zoom. the effect lies in the falloff material of the objects. i was following Necksmasher/Xeron3D's excellent tutorial on how to simulate an electron microscope. =) oh, and i put in some DoF.
