Description
I focused on the lighting for this one, I'm going back over the scene and adding extra detail to the background (stuff like workers and other stuff you'd expect to find in a foundry).
In advance (if anyone decides drops a comment :) ) - thank you, advice is always welcome.

Excellent image. bravo

The lighting on her legs is excellent! I think you are right about the background needing additional work. The fingers of her left hand look a little strange. Does she only have three fingers and a thumb?

Very cool, I like the lighting, the pose and the quality render.

Thanks for the comments. The fingers? nah it's just that the last two are curled up, for the revised background version I might tweak them a little :)

Is it rendered completely in Vue? Which version of Vue? How many lights are you using? THanks, look freekin great! ~Shawn www.massta.com

Yep I do all my rendering in Vue, in this case Vue 5 Infinite (just ordered Vue 6I). I came up with a lighting set that mimics the light cast off of naked flames (basic really, 3 light sources one red, one orange and one yellow all sharing the same spot/strength of light etc...). That's on one side with a red light on the other side of her to pick out a bit of detail and all placed in a custom created atmosphere to mimic inner city lighting (which works surprisingly well at simulating the old orange street lights) that I created a couple of years ago for an animation I did (which can be seen at my website - www.greenfire-graphix.com). In all eleven light sources (not including the 'sun').
