Description
Here we have a 1930/31 Ford pickup truck....not exactly a F-350, in fact, not even a F-150, but who knew back then?
And even if they did know back then, they didn't have the materials and technology to build the F series anyway.
Like my previous antique auto photos, captured 12/05 in the parking lot of Descanso Gardens.
Thanks for dropping by, and have an unbelievable weekend.

Great POV and well captured. Maybe not, but it seems to be every bit as functional as displayed in the photo.

It might not be a F350, but it would seem to me they'd still have to be built "Ford tough" to of been around for 75 years or so. Neat capture Harry, looks like it was a fun day. Nice work indeed!!

Great shot Harry. Perhaps this is an "F350" from that old era. I use to see commercials with this car and some whiskey box in a back.

The F series took so long to come out because many of these workhorses were sooo hard to kill. Somewhere there are a series of messages between execs at Ford talking about the next model having " planned obsolescence" to insure they wore out faster. There just was no way to convince someone to buy a new one if the old one was still in terrififc condition. BJ
