Description

Hello everyone! I had a few issues with this self-portrait. One is that the sunlight burned all the texture from my skin. Then I had some difficulties with the saturation because what looked good on my screen looked like a circus exploded when viewed on somebody else's. So, I desaturated a bit and...I present the picture to you. As always, your advice is invaluable. Oh, and I'm having the worst time taking portrait shots with my camera (Fujifilm S9500). There often seems to be quite an incredible amount of distortion and I'm really not sure if there's anything I can do about it. But, anyway: Happy Friday!!! Please visit my gallery:

the color, light and expression are lovely, self portraits are most difficult, no one there to say turn a little to your right.. which is what you need to do because of the fore-shortening of the left-hand side of your face
