It has that nostalgic feel to it, like a classical post card. Great tone and mood.

A good, realistic image, Rona. As a child, living in west central Scotland, I saw a few of the overhead cranes in the steelworks. There we pronounced it as 'cran', rhyming with 'man'. I was about eight when I realized, from a visiting Canadian cousin, that non-Scots called it a crane, after the bird. We still use 'jai' as in 'dye', instead of 'jay' as in 'bay', for the 'j' in the alphabet. Ah, language.. Thanks for viewing my frogs. I seem unable to access AND USE the e-mail in RENDEROSITY due to some system setting, that I cannot find. I have all the activeX enabled already. Regards, John.

I love shots like this. I have many photographs myself of industrial areas that have now been decimated. I think places like this have a great character. Superb for wandering around with a camera.
